Fixing Marks on the Green
Hi! I’m David Anderson for Expert Village. We are here at the beautiful Golf Club at Star Ranch outside of Austin, Texas. We are showing you some golf tips, how to improve your game, shave some numbers off of your score to improve your game and make yourself a better Golfer. One of the things that really irritates me when I’m playing golf, is the lack of etiquette basically from players that have hit on the green with the ball as it comes in a high elevation it hits the green, rolls off but leaves a ball mark. What you do is take a tool like this; this is a divot fixer, divot tool with 2 prongs. You go to each edge of that hole and you start pushing in to fill that hole back. Soften up the green, some people can use a twisting motion to get the green soft again and you’ve got your putter in your hand. What you do is with the flat part of the putter at the bottom you take it and you push it down. You make it flat. Therefore it evens out the green once again and people behind you don’t have to putt over that hole. Divot fixer fix the holes in the green.
