How to Evaluate the Wing Window When Appraising a Classic Car
Alright the glass on an automobile, this particular car as I’ve mentioned earlier on this is my own personal car. I’ve had the misfortune recently of taking a rock hit in the windshield, this is a 58 Rambler I paid $675 for a new windshield for this car, it was a very expensive windshield but trying to find a windshield for a 58 Rambler is a bit of a challenge. The wing windows on these cars one of the things that’s very common on older collector cars is delamination in the glass, you’ll see a lot of old cars you’ll see a lot of bubbling around this area, around the edge of the wing windows, you don’t want that. That all can be replaced but that’s expensive and one of the hardest things to get on a collector car are these pieces right here, the wing window frame, to find those that’s something in most cars isn’t being reproduced.
