Over The Top Knife Juggling Trick

Hi! My name is Adria and I’m one of the professional jugglers here at expertvillage.com. We’re working with knives and I’m teaching you three knife patterns. This is actually a trick called over the top which leads to patterns and just as with balls, scarves and rings which we’ve done earlier we base it on the cascade, everything is thrown up the midline of the body, crossing over to the other side of the body and then oh look at that we threw one up over the top on the outside with the right hand. I’ll do it again, we throw it up on top over the top throwing it up on the outside with the right hand, that’s over the top leading with the right and that is over the top leading with the left. Now remember I warned you, if you feel you’ve made a bad throw, jump out of the way there’s no shame in avoiding a knife injury. Here we go…and again another bad throw, so let’s just keep with the right hand, here we go over the top and over the top, the over the top throw is done by throwing it up on the outside in the same timing of the right regular pattern.
