Rhythm Playing on Country Guitar
Hey! This is Josh from the Mother Truckers and we are going through some country licks today. This is some ways to spice up your rhythm plan in the key of G. Of course you have these 3 open strings to mess around with, so you are just making a G 7 out of it but if you got a sort of upbeat Johnny Cash style thing, you just put a lot of movement in it. You can even use those same notes on the C chord. Almost the same notes on the D; go up to the third on D.
