Additional ways to Pedal Steel Lick on a Country Guitar

Hey! This is Josh C from The Mother Truckers. I'm going to go through a few country licks today. Some of the basic starting what I call pedal steel licks which sound a little bit better on a telecaster but I'll try to get them on a telecaster for you. This is sort of a classic starting pedal steel lick in the key of E as well. It could go at the end of a song like. What that's doing is you are taking your E major chord. You are just taking the top 2 strings which are the E and the B note and then dropping down here to a G flat and bending it up to an A flat making the third of the chord. So in essence, you just have your E major.
