How to Mix & Match Outfits for a Mommy Makeover

Hi! I’m Jamie Yasko-Mangum with Successful Style and Image, today on Expert Village I am going to teach you how to mix, match and make outfit options. That’s right we’re going to make clothing, no you don’t need a sewing machine, no you don’t need thread or fabric but I’m going to show you how to do it. So do remember we talked about closet shopping, you know have clothes in your closet that you can wear that project your new style but guess what? You need to see if they mix and match with anything, let’s take for instance our little model that’s right here…here she has on a nice little skort and a nice top but we need to look in our closet and see what else we have that will go with maybe the skort or the top. What I usually suggest is doing it clothing category by clothing category, what I wouldn’t do is take an outfit and say, “oh, well these pants, shorts, Capri’s or this those tops all go with that” so let’s take the top first when we mix match and multiply we know make outfit options we know that this black skirt goes with this top it’s more about social casual type of outfit because of the skort we have but then we look in our closet and we see is there anything else that will go with this blouse? Yes there is, there’s a pair of black pants these black pants will go nicely with that blouse. Well do we have anything else that will go with this blouse? Yes we have chocolate pants that will go very nicely with this blouse, now mind you this is a social evening I’m not talking formal it’s just social evening maybe out with friends, that goes with it. You can also pair this blouse this top with a pair of jeans, spice up those jeans just a little bit, that looks real nice. Those are ways of mixing and matching you do that with every piece, you’re looking at the skirt, you can look in your closet and see other things that can go with it, here’s a top that goes with the black skorts we have that or we may have a black mosaic type print. So it’s mixing and matching seeing what you have to make outfit options, thank you.
