Hair, Nails, & Makeup for Mommy Makeovers

Hi! I’m Jamie Yasko-Mangum with Successful Style and Image, today on Expert Village we’re going to talk about hair, makeup and guess what with the hair we’re going to talk about these bands that you always clip that you always put in your hair moms, you know what I’m talking about I know I do it too, we’ll talk about those in a minute but these are hairclips. But it’s very important your beauty and your grooming part of being a mom that just makes you feel good, think about the last time that you went and got your hair done and you walked out of there, didn’t that make you feel just wonderful? Maybe you had a new cut, maybe you had some color put on, made you look just absolutely great as a mom your hair is very important because not only does it need to have a style to it but it needs to be functional with all the kids and work and staying at home, that is very hard work raising children, it needs to be functional with a style. Always putting your hair up in a little scrunchy that’s not a style, I know you think you know what you have everybody else to take care of but remember you’re a mom, you need to take care of yourself first cause if you don’t take care of yourself first there’s nobody else that will take care of everybody else, so your hair is very important. If you’re not sure go talk to your hairdresser see what he or she thinks is best for your face shape, you want the color to look good with your skin color, you want the hair that’s functional and practical yet with a style. Also look at your makeup, I know there’s a lot of moms that don’t like wearing a lot of makeup that’s perfectly okay but do add just a little bit, maybe you might want some blush, maybe a little bit of eye shadow or maybe just some mascara, some clear lip gloss, you want something that’s going to make you pop that makes you look refreshed. If you wear makeup you don’t want makeup that maybe you’d wear at social evening to wear during the day, you want daytime makeup that shows your naturalness about you. Also perfume, wear a little bit of perfume that sure going to make you smell absolutely wonderful, look at your hands, go get a manicure you deserve it or go get a pedicure it’s going to make you feel and make your hands feel good, make your nails look good, if you can’t afford to get a manicure or a pedicure you know what go to your local discount beauty store and give a manicure to yourself you deserve it, you need to have great looking hands and nails plus if you keep your hands looking good it deflects your age and I know we all want to look a little bit younger. So just remember the grooming, the beauty is so important because you’re worth it, thank you.
