Merengue Dance Turns
Hi this is Leslie Sack with expertvillage.com, the dance we're doing is merengue, and this is my dance partner Jorge Saucedo. We are going to show you what it looks like to do single handed turns, double handed turns, and cross-handed turns, just real quick so you get a overview. So it starts out with your basic, and then you could turn her under one arm. She could go right; she could go left. The guy could go, and if he is going to go, he puts his hand over his own head, and he wants her to go, you take your hands here, back here if you wanted to go the other way, that way. You can also do two handed turns. This is the hammer lock. And we can do also sweetheart; that's what that looks like. Double handed, where we also have two hands up where she could go under...either way. And then you can also do a cross hand hold, where the girl goes, and the guy goes, the girl goes, all kinds of different things like that. So that's the overview of all of them.
