Making a Family Quilt: Hand Stitch Opening

Once you have the stitching done you can go ahead and pull your pins out. Grab your scissors cause were going to trim around the edges. The less bulk you have on the sides the nicer the edges are going to look. Be very careful not to cut in to far however because you're going to have to redo the outside. You surely don't need it perfect because nobody's going to see this part. So it's not real bulky. The bedding I'm more worried about than the material. Because the material doesn't add a whole lot of bulk.
