Adjusting the Sprinklers for Water Conservation Tips
I'm Cathi Pare, water resource specialist in the city of Santa Barbara speaking to you today with expertvillage.com, and right now we are seeing what kind of things a home owner can do to save some water, be more efficient in the landscape. One of the biggest things is that you can make adjustments to your system when they are necessary. We put the irrigation system on one zone at a time and right now we've got the back play lawn on and you can see that actually the sprinkler itself is watering the patio. I'm doubting the patio is going to grow and get any bigger so I think the best idea is to adjust this pop up sprinkler which basically is pretty darn easy to do. You are going to grab the sprinkler just the pop up portion of it with your hand and they turn. Some turn easier than others. You want to get a good grip, give it a couple of turns, adjust that water back onto the plants and there you go, you are good to go.
