Yoga: Head to Big Toe Pose

For this next pose you'll need a strap. Standing on your left leg, bend your right knee, and take your strap around the balls of the right toes. Then stretch your right leg more straight out in front of you; hold as close to the foot as you can for steadiness, good. Now create effort; even effort in both legs, and as you create that effort, also extend and lengthen through the bones, that's it. Then lift up through your heart, lift up through the top of your head; the top of your mouth, good, and release, and release the right leg. Let's do the left side. So you stand on the right leg, and again, make sure that the second toe stays facing straight forward. As you bend the left knee, take the strap to the balls of the toes, and then hold as close to the foot as you can, and begin to stretch your left leg straight. Now in order to stretch the leg straight, you have to firm the muscles to the bones. Hug in strong with your legs, but then extend through the leg bones, and create more of an easeful softness in the whole body, good, and release.
