Add Cheese to Your Homemade Pizza
Hi my name is Greg Goldberg on behalf of Expert Village you can reach us at www.minettis.com. In this segment we are going to be talking about applying cheese to pizza, different kinds of cheese, and the way to make your pizza a little bit better. In the last segment we put the sauce on the pizza. Now what we are going to do is add cheese. Everybody's favorite part. First thing we are going to do is sprinkle a little of Romano on top just a nice even coating not to much. Like I said oregano is the pizza maker spice. So we are going to add some oregano. Now the tricky part about cheese is getting it on the pizza not to far on the crust just were you want it. There is a trick to this if you place your hand in a cup like fashion at the edge of the sauce and any way you like you cant go to far with the cheese. So you are going to make a motioning with your finger just fluttering gently spread the cheese. If you find that one place is a little clumpier you need to spread it pick it directly up and drop it down. If you try to move it around like this you are going to wind up smearing the sauce and it is just going to make a mess. So you continue around the outside you can pick little stragglers out there and we are just going to put cheese all over it. Now keep in mind that mozzarella cheese would melt. So you don't need a real real thick layer over it. Specially if you are using a high quality mozzarella cheese. Once we have the outside pretty much coated we just sprinkle some in the middle and maybe a little extra for good luck.
