Parkour Training : Freestyle Moves
Hi! This is Matthew Willis again with Texas Parkour. Today I am going to show you guys a little bit of these free style moves that are incorporated in the parkour. They are not actually parkour movements but they are always fun to do for all your parkour tricksters out there. This is the official disclaimer, these are not actual parkour moves but they are always fun to train and practice in real situations. The first one is a wall spin and in order to do this move, it is a lot like a cartwheel against the wall and when doing this move, you are going to place both hands against the wall while you punch off the ground and you are going to rotate yourself with both hands across the wall vertically. Your bottom hand is going to be your posting hand and that is the hand that you are going to be pushing the most against and that is your stable hand. The next move is the palm spin and the palm spin what you do is a lot like gymnastics and it is also a lot like the wall spin. You are going to post your one arm against a ledge or a wall and then you are going to scoot the rest of your body along with your other hand. This is a lot like the wall spin because you are trying to project yourself up and over the object but in a vertical sense not completely over it. Fun flips can be somewhat practical but not at all. You can do fun flips down stairs; you can do fun flips pretty much where you want, down the gaps. Again you are using more energy than you would normally to be getting down these obstacles so it is not 100 percent efficient.
