This is called the straddle stretch using the towel. Now we've got a lot of people out there that have tight hamstrings and tight lower backs and it's very difficult to reach for your toes. So if you utilize a towel it makes it easier and you can really work on that flexibility. So you just want to come down to the floor, separate your legs as far wide as you can. And you want to get right on those sits bone, you can literally spiral your legs forward. Now typically if you can't reach your toes just grab a towel, place it around your foot and pull your chest as close to the leg as possible. And you just want to hold this stretch anywhere between twenty to thirty seconds and breath deeply. Inhale, and exhaling. Now with every exhale see if you can lower your chest closer to the leg. And then when you are finished with one side, go to the other side, inhale, exhale and pull your chest as close to the thigh as possible. So you're getting a great lower back, hamstring and inner thigh stretch with your straddle stretch using a towel.
