Finishing Dog Acupressure Sessions

Again once you are finished with your acupressure points and massage it is really important that you spent a little bit of time with your animal, this is what we call closing the session and it is very important that they stay relaxed for a while after you have done your work. Those muscles and bones and things are relaxing. It is important that the animal not jump up and move around otherwise half of your work has been wasted. It is a great time to spend some time with your animal, just letting them know you are there. They can be petted, they can be talked to. It is not a good time to feel them. Quite often it is nice to do just before bedtime, then they're going to go off to sleep and really get the benefit from being completely relaxed for a time after this massage work and you'll want to do this whenever you do any kind of acupressure, acupuncture treatment on your animal. Make sure that you don't waste your time or theirs so go ahead and spend some time with them, pet them and talk to them.
