Fun Snorkeling Items

On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Raymond Temeyer with Lost Island Voyages, and we also have with us Valerie Kevorkian from Tarpoon Lagoon Dive Center in Miami Beach. We’re going to talk about snorkeling today and all the opportunities that it provide. Snorkeling can be a lot of fun and there are a lot of different things you can use in order to have more fun. One thing is to have a small slate that you can use to talk to your buddy and communicate to each other. Also, when you’re out in the ocean, there are many different wildlife and fish all around you. You can pick up these cards at your local dive shops to be able to identify properly each of the wonderful animals that you might see. You can also get small wristbands with each of the fish in your local areas. Also, you can go to many different places not just in the ocean. There are even place out in the Midwest that you can go such as rivers, lakes, and streams. These places also have great wildlife diversity and many other wonderful things you can do. One of the great things about snorkeling is in recent years, many opportunities to snorkel all over the world have opened up. It’s a great vacation for family and friends, they can participate in. You can travel to many parts of the United States along our coasts and beaches. We have Pennekamp State Park in Florida plus Biscayne National Park, which has snorkeling programs where you can get on boat rides. You can go to your local dive shop and they have tours available. They take out snorkeling trips, and can direct you to vacation packages that can take you to all parts of the world where you enjoy snorkeling. Like right here at Tarpoon Lagoon in Miami Beach or at Lost Island Voyages, where you can take snorkeling trips in the Bahamas and see some the beautiful wildlife that exists there. When you’re snorkeling, the opportunities that are available are just practically endless. Even swimming with wild dolphins is available. That can be done in the Bahamas.
