How to Change Windshield Wiper Blades
Hi! My name is Nate McCullough on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this clip we are going to talk about one of items involved in a major tune-up or vehicle overhaul. The item we are going to talk about in this clip are your wiper blades. This is a wiper blade. You are going to know when they stop performing correctly. They are going to leave streaks on your window or are not necessarily going to knock off the bug guts they should. On this particular vehicle, the wiper blade is going to rotate up so we can gain access to the locking tab. The locking tab is located on this particular vehicle underneath the blade and is right here. In order to remove this wiper blade, we are going to depress the locking tab and slide it out of position. We are going to pull it up just like so and that is how you change the wiper blade. Just for the sake of film, we are going to assume this is a new blade I am installing. We are going to slide it up into this position here. On this particular vehicle it is going to slide forward and lock in place. You will hear a click sound when it is fully seated, just like so. We are going to rotate the blade down and set it back on the windshield. That is wiper blade R & R in a nutshell.
