So, now we have the new rotor, here's the old rotor, you want to look at them and make sure they are the same size, it looks like we do have the right part, so we're going to set the old rotor aside. Here's our brand new rotor, we're going to place it onto the distributor main shaft, right here. Now there's a little hole back here where this fits in. So, you just set it, see there's a little hole in the middle of it, it's going to set onto the shaft. So, we set the distributor rotor onto the shaft and get it lined up. And then push it down into there, and you'll notice that now it is locked in place, and that tab is sitting into that hole right there. O.k., so now you have replaced the rotor for your distributor.
