Flared Skirt Designs

Here we have a flared skirt. A flared skirt is kind of the opposite of the pencil skirt in that the hem line is where the difference happens. With a pencil skirt, as I said before, you narrow it down. With a flared skirt, obviously, hence the meaning of the word "flared", you flare it out. So, we will draw this again, easy, at the natural waistline, it's just the easiest way to do it, even if you don't like the way it looks, it's just, we're just learning right now, and you can put your own "spice" on it later. So draw your waistline, decide how long you want it. I have this one tea length, right below the knees, draw how wide you want your hem, and then that determines the silhouette, the up and down part. You've got to make sure that you draw the hemline big enough where you can flare it out. So I'm going to go, make sure I go in at the knees, and then flare. And there you go!
