How to Catch a Baseball

The next thing we are going to talk about is catching technique. How to catch a baseball. Pretty obvious, you want to catch it with a glove. You want to catch it in this part of the glove right here, the web. Try to avoid catching it here cause it’s going to make it harder to hold onto. Avoid trying to catch it here for the same reason. So, we do, we line up and we face the person that’s going to throw to us. Put our glove out, and then we follow with our knees and our arm and we want to catch it right there. Right where I just caught it. One more time. Face up, our glove out, move with our knees, catch it in that webbing right there.
