Now I'll show you how to sew in this bottom panel. You can place the pants right on the machine and make sure that it's fairly clear. We'll start at the corner right there. And put in, we're doing a half inch seam allowance and you start with just a little bit of back and forth to knot the threads and then making sure that nothing is folded, just sew right down the long edge, removing your pins as you go. Being careful if you feel like the heavy seams and stuff you want to go very slowly over any very thick spots to make sure that you don't break a needle. And it's a good idea to pull your pins as you go. Now when you come down to the corner you just want to make sure that you pull the fabric and make sure it's cleared, not all bunched up under there. I'm going to remove the pin and stop about a half inch before the edge of the fabric. We'll just give it a little bit of a reinforcement there. Now you can pull it out and check to make sure that you caught the material properly and there we're good. It's alright if the fabric sort of takes a turn around the edge, that's fine we're going to continue sewing here. So that's plenty of fabric to hold that. Now turn your machine and put your needle right back in where we ended, making sure that everything is clear. O.K and go to the next corner. Again you want to kind of pull the fabric down and make sure that everything stays clear there and stop about a half inch from the edge. You can put the needle down, pivot the machine, just check underneath to make sure everything is clear and there's no wrinkles. And just continue all around the bottom panel until you've sewn the whole bottom panel on.
