In this section we are going to learn to turn a double play with the outfielder getting the runner at home plate when she does tag up and does get back to the base and tries to advance by scoring to home plate by the left fielder. The ball is hit in the air with less than two outs, runner does tag up, catch is made and throw at the plate is caught and then the tag for the second out. Ok, demonstrating again this can be done with all outfield positions; this demonstration I am going to do it from center field. The ball is caught, the throw is at the plate, make the tag then the out. Now from the right field, exact same thing, catch is made, throw is at the plate the come to the catcher and the tag is made to the runner for the second out. Once again, these double plays are made from all outfield positions and runner can be on third trying to score or it could be any other runner advancing from one base to another. So just specifically on that note that is the way how to turn a double play not only from left field but from all outfield positions.
