In this segment I'm going to show you a stretch that also is in the realm of Snake creeps down. Probably one of the most beneficial stretches I've ever learned for opening the hip joint and I will say that when I began I couldn't even get close to doing it. So, the idea is you keep practicing, keep practicing, you'll be able to make some progress. So we begin sitting down, we bring the weight to one leg. We turn the body, one hand in front, one hand in back, and we drop the heel, heel and we sit down, bounce a little bit. So you see I'm dropping my butt down, dropping my butt down. Then I take this knee and drop it down. It's like that old hurdler's stretch to this, then bring the knee back up. Now the transition is what gets to be quite difficult. We turn our toe in, shift our weight, swing the arms around, and sit back down on the other side. And see, again, I'm sitting down, sitting down, sitting down. I drop my knee which stretches me all through here, bring the knee back up, shift my weight, turn, sit down, going through this process over and over again.
