Alright! We've got our guidelines on the page and you can see I've ruled guidelines on this page, and now we're going to practice just fitting marks into those guidelines spaces. So, it's kind of a small space and now is a good time to practice that sort of twenty degree pen angle. And, I'm really not concerned that you make letter forms, because we'll look at the letters as individuals. But, I would like to have you practice just starting and stopping. You know that the pen has two sides because we have a left hand side of the pen and a right hand side. So, we're going to start and stop at different places. And, it's probably a good idea to have the experience of looking. So, you really have to look on both sides of your pen as you're drawing the letters and see what happens. But you definitely want, after you've gone to all the trouble of drawing those guidelines, you want to start and stop at the guide lines. So, if you look carefully you can see that we start and stop.
