Disassembling a Trumpet

And now I'm going to show you how to properly disassemble your trumpet. First of all, we want to start by pulling out the slides. First start with our first, our main tuning slide here, go ahead and pull it out. And notice I'm holding the valve down while I'm pulling the slide out on each one. We'll go with the third, go with the second next. Sometimes you need to wiggle it just a little bit to get that one out. Then we'll go with the first. Then we'll go to our valve bottom caps next, unscrew those. We'll disassemble our valves. And there we go! That is how you properly disassemble your trumpet.
