Sub Zero Hunting: Outer Layers of Clothing

Okay in this clip we're going to talk about your outer garment layer. And your outer garment should be a wool coat, a wool of some sort. And there's a variety of different grades of wool. Whether you went full or fleece, machine wool, you get wool with a lining. This happens to be a knitted wool. The knitted wool actually gives a little more lift and it has more durability. If you get a wool with lining, it has a little more compression to it, so it's not quite as good comfort wise, but the lining also helps with the wind. The next item to consider is an over coat, an over foul weather gear to wear over the top of your wool. By adding this shell, increases your comfort range another ten to fifteen degrees. It adds for water repellent, it repels snow and it works as a wind block. So in those three conditions force you to dress warmer, you can add the shell. This shell here also has a down liner. I can put, add a down liner to it so it also increases my comfort rating. When I put all this together, everything that we've talked about, I could be comfortable in thirty-two below weather for up to four or five hours. I can sit on stand and sit motionless for two hours in thirty below weather.
