Aikido Gi Tips

We should discuss the uniform a little bit. The one that I'm wearing is a size five Diamato Judogi. It's a single weave, it's relatively, it's not too heavy, The double weave will run you a fair amount more, but you may also only buy one in the course of you martial arts career. This is referred to as a Harcoma or the pleated pants. It is a direct reflection of the Samurai and from where this art was derived. Generally when you see someone with a Harcoma, it's based on a sore guard. Pants kind of hot in Texas, so we're almost wearing a pair of black shorts underneath this right now. Otherwise, these jackets only come with a pair of pants as well and some knee pads and all that. Standard Gee, it's not real complex by any means and there's plenty of them out there. Mizuna makes great ones, Blue Gin and Sakura is probably my favorite just because I don't know, they, for some reason tend to make them for bigger guys.
