Ok, a lot of times you may notice pro golfers at a tournament, they reach down, they grab some grass, and then they toss it up like that. So that's going to give them, the reason they do that, it's going to give them the direction of the wind exactly cause you'll just see the way the grass blows and then you'll be able to adjust your shot. So the wind is something that, how do you learn to play the wind. Well, you have to get experience, you got to practice it. But if you know before your shot, you toss the grass up, you'll know exactly which way the wind is going and then you can adjust your shot accordingly. If it's a very mild wind it might not affect your shot at all. But the higher iron you hit which means the higher you’re going to hit the ball especially when you're trying to get to the green, the more the wind will affect your shot. So you have to take into account, if you've got a reasonably good wind blowing in your face you're going to grab at least one more club or if it's such a strong wind you might start thinking about hitting the ball lower so taking a different club and maybe pitching the ball up. So, there's a lot of variables that come with the wind so remember, so now the wind is kind of coming at this angle here so if I'm going to hit the ball straight, it's going to bend the ball a little back, a little bit back toward me. So you want to take that into account when you hit the ball because three mile an hour winds are nice little breezes that can keep you cool but ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five mile an hour winds really affect the shot so you have to learn how to account for it but you got to get the knowledge of which way it's blowing in the first place.
