Where you find the irimi, you find the kubishime, so I'll show you where the choke is on this. Great technique, especially in multiple attackers, or even one-on-one. As he goes to throw this kick, be here. Instead of completing the irimi nage, come in just like this, grab your hands. I stick my hip in here and then I crank him up onto his toes. So again, as he throws the kick, here, just like this, make sure you get your hip into it so you can have some leverage, just like that. The other side so they can see the other side. Just like this, fast and effective. Right side. Very simple, very cool to do. One of the things that I'll do, again, is once I get the person into this choke, which is a neck crank and a choke all at the same time, once he taps, I'll relax my body, and as I move my hips out of the way, I'll just chest thump him with my elbow. That tells me that I've got an atemi that I could deliver if I really needed to at the time. Here, boom, he taps. If I needed to I could come in and put him down just with that strike. In this situation I'm not going to do that, but that's what the chest thump reminds me of.
