Tennis Shots: Block Volley

Now we're going to be talking about what happens when the ball comes to your body. How do you supposed to be hitting that ball. Alright. Many times you're going to be feel; you're going to feel tempted to do it with one hand just because many times we have more strength, but we're really wasting time and it's not as effective to do this as to try to get the ball this way. That's not an exact way to get the ball out because sometimes it's going to be high and sometimes it's going to be really low, sometimes it's going to be up here. So, just keep in mind the principles of keep that angle on your racquet, keep the head of your racquet up. If the ball is down, get it down. If the ball is coming right to your body, you're just going to try to get it out as you can and since you're so close to the net, you're probably just going to be able to get it and just doing this way is probably just not be a very challenging shot but just good enough to keep you on the point and that's basically what you want to do.
