Fashion Design Princess Seams

Finally, we are going to move out of that garment instruction line and getting it's more exciting, isn't it? But, the last thing we're going to talk about are the princess lines or seven lines, and the term should be familiar, if you've ever had a jacket that's princess cut, dress that has princess seams, that the seams that curve in, their parallel, they curve in on either side down the chest. These are called, also called seven lines. And they're exactly in the middle of the sides of the figure. There's the middle, and the middle of the middle. And they are, they're in the front and the back. They go from the shoulder line to the panty line and they divide into four segments, front and back. Note that the lines here that are shown are just for reference. When you do your own drawings, you're going to have much more flare, much more curve to them. The waist is obviously, not going to be straight across. This looks very dimensional. With the smiles and frowns, techniques implemented, you're going to have a lot of invent, you're going to have a lot of more mass and volume when it comes to actually doing your own creative drawings.
