Mune Tsuki Iriminage: Intermediate Aikido Techniques

Okay moving on we're going to do now what I call the irimange the 20 year version. And I've already discussed what the 20 year means. So as the strike comes in I'm going to do this, set this up very much like I did munetski kotagaeshi. Lead him around, strike to the face, enter, as you do this leave this hand over. See I've got him off balance. As he struggles to regain his own balance this leads him right in to the technique you want. I base his head to the very back of his skull, this arm comes up and then it cuts down. This can be a very gentle technique or a devastatingly powerful technique. One, two, three. A little faster. At speed.
