Trimming Motorcycle Brake Handles

Alright another little added bonus you could do to your bike among all the little tank guards and exhaust and everything. I like to actually cut my brake and clutch levers off. And normally on the Suzuki's there's a hollow area right here, and then it ends. And basically what I do, take a piece of tape, tape it right off where that hollow point ends. About there, just like that. Then I take an air saw and I cut it off. Once that's off you're going to take your angle grinder and you're going to sand. Next thing you want to do, take your angle grinder and hit the edges. You want to hit all the edges, you want to actually round it off so your gloves and your hands don't get scratched or anything. So now let's round it out. You want to go ahead and take some sandpaper, just want to make sure there's no extra metal or anything to snag yourself on. And then you can go follow it with some little bit lighter sandpaper. Now you have a nice cut off bar, all sanded and smooth. That looks a little bit better too. And what you can do, you can just do it on both sides of the clutch and the brake lever. And just cut them off, polish them up, get them all nice and sanded. And that's basically how you cut off your levers.
