Replacing Motorcycle Oil

Alright, now we're going to put the new oil filter on. Now, normally, they'll have a little instruction on the side. This one says, "apply oil to the gasket before installation," which means we're just going to take a dab of oil from the new oil in here. We're just going to lightly coat this rubber gasket right here. Just go right around, just make sure you get it all on there. This will make a good seal. Once you got that on there, make sure the surface is clean around where we're reinstalling this. And it is. So, we're just going to go on and put this back on. Give it two full turns after the gasket meets here. So, what I'm thinking is, I just hand tighten it until I can't hand tighten it anymore. And then I grab my key. Alright, well, we're about to put the oil in right now. Now the oil fill is located right here on the right side of the engine. Depending on what kind of riding you do, you could use regular oil. This one's kind of like a high performance bike now since we're doing the programmer, the exhaust and everything, resin in the canyon, so we're going to go with the synthetic. So, just unscrew this. Take your filler, put it in there and then grab your oil. Now, what we're going to be watching is this little window here. Now the factory wants you to fill this window halfway. So we'll fill it until we get about halfway and I always go just a little bit over because it has to also fill up that oil filter that we did. So you just take it, take the oil and you start filling. Alright and, basically, that's how you do a oil change on a Jigser. We'll just put our cap back on. We've got our oil level correct and that's basically it. It's real easy to do and you should always check the level of oil in your bike. Make sure if you look at the window that the oil's all clean and not dirty and at the right level at all times and you should have your bike last for a long time.
