Removing Motorcycle Panels

Alright to install this exhaust, you're going to need to remove all of the body panels. And, the way to do that, get yourself a four millimeter T Head Allen Wrench, and you just go along and you just start cracking them out. There's a whole bunch of them, so make sure you go around and get them all, but they're pretty easy to get out. There's all kinds of Allen Heads located all around the bike, there's also Push Pins. The way to get the Push Pins out, you just push the button in the middle and then the tab will pull right out. So, you just do this side and then you just run around to the other side, and repeat the same process. Alright when you're working on a bike normally, a bike like this you're basically just going to be using Allen Wrenches and Push Pins. And, in this case, you'll come across things just like this, and what it is, it's just a little tab that holds the fairings on. All you do is you go up, push the center button, and it's going to come right out, and that's basically it. It's either Allen Wrenches or these. When you're doing an exhaust system, oil change or anything, you're always going to want to let the bike cool down until you can actually touch the pipe. And this one is pretty much cooled down, and it's almost ready to go, so this one's ready to go and we're going to start taking the header off.
