How to Install Door Skin

Today we're changing a rear latch on a ninety-six, Ford Explorer. In this step, I'm going to demonstrate the proper procedure for re-hanging your lift gate, inner door skin. Go ahead and pick it up, right here and slide it up into relative position, on the door. Now, if you look, this guy has a whole bunch of little hangers on it, all the way around. This is going to indicate that it's going to slip on forward and then slide down and then self support. Get that there and line it up and slip it down, into position. You can see it will kind of stay there but what you're going to want to do is take and start your Christmas trees, right away. I have some of these handy, right here. I'm just going to go ahead and start on this side and work my way around. There we go. And there you go. That is the proper service procedure, for hanging lift gate, interior skin and installing your Christmas trees.
