What is a Double Leg?

Okay so what is a double leg you might ask? It's called either a double leg or a fan kick. It is a joint reverse crescent kick but with both legs together. You're going to go completely vertical facing the ceiling going all the way over with both legs landing on both feet. It's a really neat and fancy kick to use. You'll see a lot of break dancers use it these days. Or just a lot of really acrobatic guys. But mostly you'll see it in martial arts. You'll see them do it off combos. Guys that are really good at it they can do a double leg and then afterwards before they land they can do a full twist or they can jump into the air, do a kick and then go into it in the air. But it's a very difficult kick to learn but it's also very neat and very impressive to watch. Now it is a kick, okay. So, everything you do in martial arts, if it's a flip or something it always has to have a kick out of it. So it is an acrokick. So as you go in the air you come around you're going to be hitting somebody coming on the way down or you can be hitting somebody on the way up, okay? You can also do what's called an exile. As you jump, as you go out instead of keeping your legs together you'll tuck them in and then shoot both legs out and that's called an exile and that'll be a double kick in the air and then you're going to flip back around back onto your feet. Alright. And it's also used to be going over people or objects. And we're going to be going over that in some of these clips you'll see so stay with us and check it out.
