Tools for Replacing Automotive Cooling Fans

In this clip we're going to talk about the proper way to remove and replace an electronic cooling fan. In this step we're going to talk about the tools required in order to remove and replace your electronic cooling fan. What I have here in front of me is a good standard and metric socket set. I have a set of slip joint channel locks, a set of very long needle nose pliers, a heavy duty test light, and a drain bucket to catch coolant if required. And a magnetic tray to hold all the fasteners and clamps you may have to remove during your electronic fan removal and re-installation. These are the tools necessary in order to remove and replace your electronic cooling fan.
