Hi, my name is Jeff Fiffie. I'll be showing you how to remove and replace a fuel pump on a Lincoln Continental. O.k, now we're going to replace our locking ring, that locks the fuel pump in place. Lowering it down nice and slowly, you want to see these end grooves that comes from the manufacturer. In this case you're going to need an assistant to hold two screwdrivers. O.k, now just place one screwdriver right here, and place the other screwdriver right here, press down firmly. Now, I'm going to use the chisel and the hammer to lock it in place, putting the chisel right on the end. That's right now. When I say apply pressure, then you apply pressure, o.k. O.k, now we want to apply pressure to the locking rings. I'm going to take the chisel and the hammer and tap real lightly. And, it's very important that you get all the lockings tabs locked. You're going to need to make sure they're down.
