Securing Hood to Change Fuel Pump

Hi my name is Jeff Fiffie. I'll showing you how to move and replace a fuel pump on a Lincoln Continental. Ok the first thing we want to do before we get started, of course we want to come in here, raise our hood, latch it from the inside, raise our hood up, making sure the hood doesn't come down on our head. For safety reasons you want to disconnect the battery terminals from our battery. Ok I'm going to need a half inch wrench to do this. Starting with our negative side first, you want to loosen it off, then with our positive side loosen it off. Take it and put it firmly out of the way.
