I have 2 haynes teardown and install book but it can't compare to your video. A complete teardown/install in a high definition format would be invaluable to me and to the rest of non mechanical technical person like me. I will buy your complete teardown/install DVD if you have one. A reasonable price around 5 to 10 dollars is ok. I tried installing a brake pads myself with the help of your video and bought the cross that takes the lug nut. Sadly the second nut came with the stud and I end up at midas. they replace my front pads and broken stud and readjusted the rear drum for 160 dollars. The car dealer price was 300 dollars. Now I have a blown up head gasket and timing belt scheduled replacement which the dealer charge me for $ 2,000.00 dollars. not including the rest that is broken right now: Power steering return pipe leaking, alternator spiking making front console light very bright, airbag light always on after the spike, no power on low headlights, car stereo lights-up but with no sound, sometimes with sound but when accelerating the speaker becomes mute. I gave up going to the dealer because of their price. My car ODO is at 44,000 thousand miles and is six years old just over the five year warranty on the car engine troubles. Now I have become your avid fans. Thank you for the video.

Changing the Oil After a Blown Head Gasket
Hi my name is Nate McCullough on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this clip we are going to talk about the last step involved in changing your valve cover gasket. Anytime you open the engine, you allow contaminants to enter, be it seen or not. What you are going to want to do is run the engine for a brief period of time, 30 seconds or so. What that will do is pump the oil up from the oil pan, and it would reach all the components inside the engine; and when the oil drains back down when you shut the engine off, it will take any of the particulate or airborne debris that is engine down the oil pan. The last thing that you want to do after servicing, in this case our valve cover gasket, is to preform an oil change. Change the oil out, remove the filter, reinstall your new filter, hook the plug in and fill it up. If your engine happens to be particularly leaky, if you suspect that you have more trouble then just your valve cover gasket, they have available at your local part store if you ask at the counter for it: an oil dye. What that will do is it comes in a small bottle about so big. You would take and add that right in with your own during that fresh oil change and run the motor. Run it for approximately a 100 miles, just doing your daily driving. What that dye would do is indicate exactly where any additional leaks that you may have are coming from. It is a bright green color and you can't mistake it.
