The foot placement that's required for the switch varial flip is basically you want to set up your back foot to do the shoveiting, but you want to make sure that you're able to get a lot of pop out of it because now it's in charge of a lot of movement, and you want to have this trick come off of the ground good. So set up with the tip of your toe right on the nose. You're rolling switch remember so you're heading in the switch direction. Your front foot you'll want to point it just slightly towards the front. This basically makes it so that the slight motion of the flipping and the shoveiting at the same time sends the board over just enough to do a varial flip. Remember, you don't want it to over flip. So you're going to have to test a lot of different foot placements to find out what exactly works. The best thing to do is just practice and try out as many different foot placements as you can because this trick is going to be different for everyone. It's, switch varial flip is one of those tricks that's a very slight maneuver and it is kind of easy to do, but it's actually hard to land and roll away clean. So test out as many foot placements as you can for the switch varial flip.
