Montessori Writing Activities

This is how you present metal insets. Show the children how you go and pick the things off the shelf. Paper, metal inset, I think I would like blue and yellow. Always hold your tray with both hands. Put the metal inset on top of your paper. Show the children how they grasp the pencil. I think I want to turn it around. Now take this out and put my name on it. Now I'm going to return the tray back to the shelf, put the tray on the shelf, put the pencils back, put the metal inset back. Go put your work away.
