I've got three pieces of paper here, they're cardstock for scrapbooking, but you can use construction paper, or whatever you have. Think about how big you want your little chalk board to be. You don't have to measure anything, just cut a little shape. Stack it on top of what's going to become your background, or border or frame, for your little chalk board. And just cut around it. Snip. Snip. Perfect. Little bit of glue stick on the back. Now, I have this little white pencil that's used for sewing, it's really perfect for this kind of thing. I have this little white pencil that I use for sewing, for marking fabric. You might have a white pencil in a box of colored pencils. Or you might have an actual piece of chalk. Either way. I'm going to write, this is going to be, to my friend, John. And I will write his name on there, just print it on there. And then, just to make it extra cute, I'm going to put a little piece of chalk on there, and pretend that that's what we used to write his name. This glue will dry clear. Oh, adorable. And now a hole punch. Just one little hole is all we need, really. So quick and so clever. Little bit of red, and I like this gold, because it's the color of a number two pencil. So, it works with our theme. He's going to love this. Just going to run our ribbon right through our little hole, and we're almost done. Cute. Curl it with our scissors, and we end up with this. A witty little way to wrap a school-themed gift.
