Adding Handles to a Gift Bag

Perfect. Now, nothing will catch on it when we stick our present inside. Next, hole punch! I like my holes kind of close together. Try to get them so that they line up front and back. It makes it look a little more professional. Ok, terrific! Let's add some twine for our handles. Now, for long do you want your handles? This is really an individual thing. I wouldn't go measuring it or anything. And then, it's just like, you know, simple sewing. It's just thread it through the front, all the way through, to the back again, through to the the back, into the center. Now both of your ends are inside your tote. Now, in order to make this really sturdy, the best thing to do is just to take your two ends up, cord, tie it together like that, give it a good knot. You can trim that if you want, but not too short, because if it frays, it will make your knot loose its integrity and your present will fall on the floor. Now, we're ready to stick a little present inside.
