Here are the pots and utensils that we are going to need to make this dish today. We are going to be using a small sauce pot. We are actually going to be using this pot twice today. We are going to be taking a cup of water and a bouillon cube and we are going to bring that to a boil and then when that is done boiling we are going to put it in this larger pot with our rice which has been toasted in butter and oil. We will bring that to a boil and put this lid on it and cut the heat in half and let it boil down then we are going to use this again towards the very end and we are going to be mixing in some cider vinegar and that is going to be the sour part of our chicken along with some sugar and soy sauce, that will be the sweet part and we are going to be adding our carrot to that as well. We are going to be using this big pot here and we are going to boil water and we are going to peel and slice the carrot very thinly and let it blanch and then in this sauté pan or frying pan here, this is where we are going to be adding our cooked sauce and sautéing our chicken with our scallion, our red pepper, green pepper, red onion, orange and our blanched carrot. In this small container right here this is where we are going to mix an egg with some corn starch and a little bit of water. We are going to add it at the very end and that is going to make our sauce thick. We are going to need one small bowl here and that is going to be the first thing we do which is to make our marinate and we will put that in and let that sit for about 20 minutes. We are going to need some measuring spoons as well as measuring cups. We are going to need a peeler for our carrot. We are going to be using a spatula, a knife, a spoon, a cutting board and because we are going to be dealing with raw chicken we are going to be using a pair of plastic gloves.
