Headlight Restoration: Tape & Towel

On this clip I am going to go ahead and use these two items, the towel and the tape. We are going to dry the headlights you can just dry it up perfect. You want to get it dried up because you don't want to get any water in your polish. Again every headlight is different so this tape is used to cover up the edges when you polish them. You don't want to burn out the paint and also you want to cover up the black moldings. On some headlights you have bigger moldings but this is just from here to here so I'm just going to go ahead and cover up the edges. This edge right there you want to cover up well. This should be enough for me. Like I said all headlights are different but since this one has gaps I don't need to cover up these areas. That's it for taping it.
