Headlight Restoration Tools

On this clip I'm going to show you the material and the tools that you need to be able to fix the headlights. First we're going to start off by showing you the sandpaper grits that you need, you probably need for sure fifteen hundred grit, thousand grit sandpaper, I recommend six hundred to start off with and if the headlights are really, really rough you might want to start off with a three twenty which I got just a little piece of here but it will work. Ok you for sure you need a polishing a, polisher. You don't want to do this with a hand because it's going to be really, really, really hard, difficult to take those scratches off. I got couple of products here that I get from the paint shop, automotive paint shop which you may not be able to find just at the regular, regular stores but this one is a Kit Compound which kind, it's kind of powered that's you're going to be using for getting, taking off the, the sand marks first is the first step. Then we be able to go ahead and use this Tri Compound micro finisher, regular polish and if you want to go through the next, last step which you, which I don't really it's not necessary but you can hand glaze it. The polishing pad I'm going to be using for this is for actual rubbing compound, I'm going to use this for polishing and I'm going to be finishing it up with this pad. The other materials I'm going to be using is a microfiber a, towel and a masking tape I'm going to show you how to use these.
