Promenade with Partner in Foxtrot Dancing
Hi! This is Leslie Sack with expertvillage.com. My website is lesliesack.com and this is my dance partner Jorge Saucedo. We are doing foxtrot for you and these patterns that we are going to do are the forward basic into the promenade and the promenade with the ladies turn and then a right rock turn. This is what it is going to look like. So ladies stay over to the side and we will try to move together as 1 so guys do a forward basic slow, slow, quick, quick, this is our promenade. He turns his shoulders towards me so then we will both walk this way; slow, slow, quick, quick. He is going to raise his left arm and I am going to do a little turn. Slow, slow, quick, quick. Okay now, he's going to do a right rock turn; slow, slow, do it again, slow, slow, do it on the corners just one more, slow, slow, quick, quick, and then you start the whole thing again. Let's turn it facing this way. Okay guys, you do a forward basic first, slow, slow, you go promenade, slow, slow, and the ladies turn; guys, you just keep doing your promenade; quick, quick. Now guys you walk back. So you look like it's intentional, slow, slow, quick, quick.
