Removing Exfoliating Scrub

Kate: In this clip I'm just going to show the way you would remove it. What you want to use is something soft and gentle. You want to use lukewarm water. So I have damp cotton gauze and we're just going to remove gently. You don't want to scrub the scrub off of you because a lot of people have tendency to press very hard with their washcloths and what that can lead to is micro lacerations of the skin which allows us to get open to bacteria, therefore acne and we don't want that. So I'm just going to make sure all the scrub is off of Lizzie's skin. Always want to go really gentle around the eye area. Make sure everything is gone. So now her skin is really smooth but we want to protect it because now we just removed the top layer of skin and her skin is very vulnerable. Do you use an SPF every day? Lizzie: I do. Kate: She's one of the smart ones. Everyone has to use SPF every day.
